What you’ll need to make this holiday mocktail
You’ll need the following to make this drink:
- Pomegranate juice: this juice gives the drink it’s beautiful colour, but also offers lots of flavour and some health benefits
- Kombucha: choose a flavour (and colour) that pairs well with pomegranate.
- Pomegranate seeds: either purchase a whole pomegranate or get just the seeds to save you some time
- Orange slices: while there isn’t any orange in this drink, I love the pop of colour an orange slice/wheel offers. A blood orange would also be nice, but they can be hard to find.
- Ice: a must!
Additions & Substitutions
- Different kombucha flavours: you can technically makes lots of variations of this drink because you can experiment with different flavours!
- Make it a cocktail: if you’d prefer to make this a cocktail, you can add a little alcohol. Vodka or gin would likely work best.
- Add rosemary: while it won’t add much flavour, a sprig of fresh rosemary as a garnish will add some festive vibes!
